The Lego movie was the funniest film since Porky's

But seriously, it was just incredibly witty, self-aware, and consistently humorous.
If you haven't seen the movie, don't read this: I thought the introduction of the kid and Will Ferrell was hilarious, but I think it would have been better as a quick gag, rather than the crux of the entire plot. It kinda defeated the wonder of the story.
So yeah, go see this. Go see it with a lady (but not on a first date...never do movies on the first date). Elizabeth Banks even managed to make a Lego character hot.

Just now saw it. It was decent, I guess. Not 100% on Rotten Tomatoes good. I didn't laugh/smile once throughout the entire thing, and I cringed twice. 7/10 in my book.
I liked how the moral was based on the placebo effect. I didn't care for all the deus ex shit.
