Sorry :( Gifs help. Responding to the anti-consumerism thing, I think it was less of a political message and more of a child's perspective. Remember that in the end, those same traits of cooperation and instruction-following saved the day. All I got from that was that kids think coffee is dumb and expensive, adult jobs are just following instructions all day long, and that only kids really have imagination. Seemed pretty spot-on for what I thought as a kid.

It's okay :P I totally get that, but how everyone listens to the same pop song and that everyone watched the same sitcom with the same plot is something I don't think little kids would entirely understand. My friends tend to make jokes about me being a communist so they pointed out that I would love the hideout in the clouds with no government. But I totally get that it's a movie made for kids and most likely tries to fit their perspective.
