Assuming there's enough overing you, yes. But it wouldn't necessarily be called drowing.

But it melts in your lungs! You would have water in your lungs. You would drown!
-
If that happened, then yes, it would be drowning. However, if it was cold enough that you were just covered and it only blocked air from reaching your mouth/lungs, then it would be asphyxia.
-
That sounds like a horrible way to go. :3
-
It's not, you get euphoria from hypoxia but until asphyxiation causes euphoria, it would be super uncomfortable up until that point because you can't catch your breath which would make you super uncomfortable and panicky.
-
I don't recommend it.

How bad do you think it is on a scale of 1-10?

This is what would usually happen: 1. Your heart race increases and you body instinctively tries to free itself; 2. Your body tires and the lack of oxygen quickens that; 3. The lack of oxygen begins to take its toll. Your vision blurs and your head throbs; 4. By this point, if not already, you'll probably gasp for air; 5. If something entered your lungs that isn't air your body with panic and try expelling the foreign matter; 6. You will most likely vomit at this point as a last attempt to clear your air passage. You will likely choke on the vomit as well; and finally 7. You will die. It won't by any means be pleasant and will feel like a longer time than it it. It will take 30 seconds to one minute and 30 seconds for you to die.
