I am on a roll today! This is a quick but interesting one!
Did you know, that the German hand held anti tank launcher (The panzerschreck) was based on the U.S. bazooka?
The Germans captured U.S. bazookas in Tunisia in 1943 and used its design to create a more devastating weapon which came to be known as the panzerschreck, it fired an 88mm rocket that was capable of knocking out any allied tank. Its effective range was up to about 200m, but you better be a damn good shot from that far!
