Just buy prebuilt. Much Easier and you will make at least 20 people on the site rage.

-Pre-built is overpriced. -Weaker for the price. Don't give people lesser advice just because you're an idiot who bought a pre-built PC.

^ honestly go with this, it marks who you really are.
Don't listen to this guy. He went against the advice of every single person and didn't even know what specs he had.
See what I mean? These guys get their jimmies rustled if you don't build your own, it is too much fun. My suggestion? Go to Newegg and wait for a sale on a decent prebuilt. Almost all of them come with a keyboard and mouse, so all you would need to supply yourself with is a monitor, which is also easy to find on Newegg. Oh, and if you are worried about the specs, go find a site that gives the benchmarks for whichever parts in the computer and see if you will be able to run what you want at what level.
-
Don't give people lesser advice (:
-
It's not lesser advice. My prebuilt is running like a clock and plays everything I've downloaded without an issue. No hassle whatsoever.
-
It is lesser advice. You're telling the OP to buy a pre-built that will cost him more than a custom built PC with the same specs.
-
So what are your specs? And how much did you pay?
-
He paid $700.
-
Thanks. He better have something better than a 660 in that thing.
-
I'll try and find his thread.

Edited by Greene: 2/2/2014 5:46:49 PMI didn't pay much attention after he said he ordered the prebuilt. Thanks

-
I feel like I should pity him, but I can't.
-
He already got shredded in the thread he made after he got it.
-
You say shredded, yet all that happened is all of you got butt hurt over somebody buying a prebuilt PC instead of building it. Don't be mad that I can pay someone to build it for me and save myself time.
-
No, we told you that you wasted money on a PC that wasn't worth the price.
Don't be mad that I can pay someone to build it for me and save myself time.
Why would I be mad about you being too incompetent to build your own? And it takes 2 hours max to build on. I'd rather spend 2 hours building a PC and save myself £100+ by doing so.
-
And I'd rather pay to have it done correctly and have everything on it guaranteed. Because if you break something while installing it, you have to pay to replace it. Would you buy all the components for a TV and build it yourself? I'm sure its cheaper. God, you are such an idiot for not building your own TV, car, house, bed, clothes, shoes, and raising/growing your own food.
-
Because if you break something while installing it, you have to pay to replace it.
Does the word warranty ring any bells?
Would you buy all the components for a TV and build it yourself?
That's not even the same, you complete moron.
-
Umm, warranty does not cover you breaking something while you install it. And if you just say lie about it, then you are piece of crap and a huge part of the problem. How is it not the same? It is exactly the same.

What difference would it be if it broke whilst it was inside your PC? Answer: It wouldn't. Do you know how stupid you'd have to be to break a part? You'd have to be fairly stupid.
How is it not the same? It is exactly the same.
People don't build their own TVs because that's not an option, and if it is, then it's clearly not a very popular thing to do. And because a TV is a TV. The only difference is the size and resolution. A gaming PC is more than that.
-
None of your business. I just told you everything you need to know.
-
Omg you don't know your specs, do you?
-
What would it matter if I didn't? Why do you care what someone else's specs are for their PC? This is why it is too easy to rustle the PC nuts jimmies.
-
So let me get this straight. You bought a prebuilt against the advice of everyone. AND you don't know the specs. Believe me, I'm not the one with the rustled jimmies. This is way too funny. I should screencap everything!
-
I know my specs, but they don't matter. Until there is a game I can't play (which is going to be a while) I don't need to do anything to my computer. Putting up numbers is pointless as a low to mid range PC can run pretty much anything, just not a 1440p and 60fps (which is so not necessary). Running games at their max is harder on your build anyway, so why do that if you can get a decent looking game at a step or two down? Again, the PC people care way too much about textures and polygons for me to care about posting my specs.
