So, how many years do you think we are from a third party getting past all the regulations that hold them back, and actually get a president that does the right thing for the country, not their political party?

I feel like a revolution is bound to happen sometime when the average person's life finally starts being directly effected by the government's actions. It could be a long ways off, but with how stupid US politicians are I feel it's destined to happen eventually.

americans are too apathetic to actually get off their fat asses and do something about it. why revolt when their job/livelyhood would be at risk?

I said their lives would have to be directly effected by this, and in a very negative way. As it is currently, American's lives aren't effected by gov't scandals like the NSA, Benghazi, drones being used to kill foreign civilians, selling arms to cartels, etc. They don't do anything because from their couches, nothing is happening, only stuff on the news that doesn't effect them. When something does happen that directly effects Americans, something that really angers and motivates people, then I could see something happening. Again, that's a long ways off.
