Sure, their costumes look alike, but they have none of the same powers. Deadpool is a mutant with dissociative identity disorder and borderline insanity, while Spider-Man is a college graduate being affected by spider DNA bonded to his own by a genetically modified spider. Spider-Man has a moral code and a girlfriend, while Deadpool does whatever he wants and hits on every chick he sees. If Spider-Man is injured, he heals at the same rate as a regular person, while Deadpool can be cut in half and will merge back together. These two are very different, so why do some people say they are the same?

1 ReplyThey are so the goddamn same.

Nobody says that. Clearly one is red and blue, the other is red and black. Pffftt... some people. Hahar

I think it was because they were in some comics together

They're both funny...
The witty quips and commentary.
The Merc with a Mouth. He always has some stupid one-liner or clever monologue he needs to say. Spider-Man, being that Parker is relatively young, is constantly cracking jokes and being the "funny man". I suppose if you haven't read a couple of their respective comics that wouldn't make sense to you.

I don't know either. Spiderman is infinitely better than Deadpoolol.
