Hmmm I read somewhere that if you create an alt they won't make you start that character from scratch. Has me thinking, I'll have a character just for PvP. Maybe with the teleport skill to go from cover to cover easier.

  • Bungie has said that you can use the same character for everything, and have certain focuses for certain things, like one for PvP, and one for PvE

  • for sure your pvp build will be different than your co op build and maybe strike and raid build. I see about 4 slots so far, leads me to believe may be able to make multiple builds of a guardian, or possilbly some new guardian races will come join us later in the game.. thinking on it with a 10 yr roll , probably the latter, who knows where the story will take us and that's the fun part

  • But like what I heard/read, if you make a totally new character, not a different build, but like a totally new character, you won't start from scratch(lvl 1). So what I'm thinking, I'll be playing as an Awo Warlock, and then I decide to make a Titan or Hunter for the PVP arenas, it will probably by the same level as my main, or if not, 10 lvls behind? I also wonder, if the gear I find with my main, can be easily given to my alts, or vice versa. And with what you say, would it be only 4 slots total? Like, Slot 1 = Warlock Build 1, Slot 2 = Warlock Build 2, and so on? Or might it be, Slot 1 = Warlock Build 1, Slot 2 = Titan Build 1, Slot 3 = Hunter Build 1, or any combo for easy switching between different characters? Either would be very nice.
