I don't eat Subway because I want good food. The sub I get tastes like crap and I'd rather the mystery meat remain a mystery. I eat it because it's somewhat cheap and pretty healthy.

It tastes terrible, but the nutrition is miles ahead of McD's. A 6" has ~400 calories from 7g fat (2g saturated), 48g carbs, and 23g protein. I wish the sodium content was lower, but whatever. I prefer to make my own food which is cheaper and healthier... and tastes marginally better.
