Why does disliking Destiny automatically make someone a CoD fanboy?

It seems to me that there is a mentality on this forum that anyone who doesn't get orgasms over Destiny is automatically a CoD fanboy. I've seen many threads where the OP says something even slightly negative about Destiny, and immediately is accused of being a CoD fanboy, even though he didn't mention CoD once. Why does this happen? The person never admitted to even knowing what CoD is. There are other games out there besides CoD. These people just aren't that excited for Destiny. Why does that make them a CoD fanboy?

  • I'd hazard a guess to be because alot of Destiny-Hate threads (Weird because there's no way Destiny and Hate can be in the same sentence... unless it's "I HATE that I can't play Destiny yet.") feature CoD fans stroking their 11 year-old, EVERY YEAR game franchise... swearing each one is better than the last and everything else can go die... Not to mention the 8 year olds telling me to eat a numerous of terrible things and inferring that my mother is overly promiscuous...
