Oh, wait. I seem to remember a period of time lasting from the late 20s and through most of the 30s. I hear it was a pretty great dip in the American economy, you could even call it a depression. I'm pretty sure that was way worse.

Sadly, it isn't. The positive jobs numbers were because people stopped looking. We're at the highest actual unemployment since 1954.
