Its not the body is to large and shaped differently.
-
I suppose I should use a more formal name. Opiliones, or Harvestmen. We just call them Daddy longlegs.
-
Oh theres more breeds of the buggers than I thought. Im only used to two types the kinds most common in Kentucky and Tennessee.
-
Mhmm, thankfully there isn't too big a variety up here. Winter demolishes the bugs.
-
Same here. But during the summer grandaddy long legs invade my house and those giant mosquito things invade my garage.
-
*gulp* Ruh-really?
-
Whats the problem? They can't hurt you.
-
I know, I've just never seen one. Shocker.
-
-
What, are they common where you live? Where did you say you lived, again? Montana?
-
They invade my house in the summer. I tend to leave them. They eat other spiders and insects. And the exterminator said there isnt anything to kill besides actually squishing them.
-
Yeah, I've seen some really big ones too, I think the body was bigger than a pea.
