Just because you lack skill doesn't mean 343 did do a fantastic job with Halo 4, you're simply bad.
343 didn't do a fantastic job
The only true part of your post.
-
Except they did do a fantastic job with Halo 4, you're simply bad.
-
Then why did the population drop so quickly?
-
It happens with every game now, more competition, less free time, the sour taste left from Reach and Bungie teat suckers that never gave the game a fair chance. For a new company's first game it's still hugely successful given the hurdles they had to overcome.
-
Lol please stop! You're making me cry from laughter
-
Then I recommend you take your blinders off and accept reality.
-
Yes, that's why the population is so low. Because 90% of the community is bad, so they left.
-
The population isn't low. It happens with every game now, more competition, less free time, the sour taste left from Reach and Bungie teat suckers that never gave the game a fair chance. For a new company's first game it's still hugely successful given the hurdles they had to overcome.
The population isn't low.
Yes it is. Y'know why? Because Halo 4 was a failure. It was sub-par when compared to its predecessors. Even Reach. And that is saying something.
It happens with every game now, more competition, less free time,
It didn't happen to CoD. In fact, a good deal of Halo 4's population left as soon as the newest CoD game came out.
the sour taste left from Reach
The sour taste left from Reach that was replaced with a giant shit dropping into the metaphorical mouth.
and Bungie teat suckers that never gave the game a fair chance
It was given a fair chance. Most of the guys who hated Reach were expecting Halo 4 to bring the series back to what it was. They were disappointed.
For a new company's first game it's still hugely successful given the hurdles they had to overcome.
If by 'hugely successful' you mean 'a colossal failure' and 'made most of the Halo community give up on the franchise', sure.
-
No, it's not. It's one of the most played games on the Xbox 360. Halo 4 was not a failure, and Reach is an abomination. It did happen to Call of Duty. False, you're simply blind. Except Halo 4 did fix the series, they were disappointed because they are biased. Except it was successful, and those that left are no loss. They are incompetent.
-
Halo 4 was not a failure, and Reach is an abomination.
They were both pretty, bad, but Reach was tolerable. Halo 4 was not.
It did happen to Call of Duty.
Not nearly as badly as Halo 4.
False, you're simply blind.
No, you're simply ignorant.
Except Halo 4 did fix the series
The same way smashing an already broken car repeatedly with an anvil is 'fixing' it.
they were disappointed because they are biased.
When the majority decides something is terrible, it was terrible. If it was good, the majority would not have left.
Except it was successful, and those that left are no loss. They are incompetent.
The same way people that jump out of a train about to crash are 'incompetent'. 343 had better quit jacking off and get their act together with Halo 5 to avoid another mass video game genesis like this.
-
Reach was the only abomination, halo 4 was fantastic. Why would you expect it to be? The only one naive is yourself. Except 343 replaced the engine and got it going again after Reach seized it up. The majority loves the game, we just don't all play it at once. The majority "leaves" every game. 343 stopped the train and let people off safely. Their act has been together.
-
Let me stop you there. Whenever I see someone playing Halo, 9 times out of 10 they are playing Reach.
-
And? Your friends and what they do are irrelevant.
-
This is just in general. Friends of friends of friends. It brings up quite the sample population. If the sample prefers Reach over H4, then that must mean that Reach is more enjoyable to the sample. The sample represents the population as a whole, so this strongly suggests that the Xbox Live community whom play Halo games prefers Reach over H4. My friends are part of the community, and are therefore relevant.
-
Except that sample does not represent the entire population. My friends are the exact opposite and love Halo 4 while seeing Reach as an abomination.
-
Reach was the only abomination, halo 4 was fantastic.
You have extremely low standards, then.
Why would you expect it to be?
Look, CoD manages to pull in MUCH more money than Halo and has a consistently higher population, despite having tons of hate directed toward it. Clearly, they're doing something right, especially since so many people quit Halo 4 and went to CoD. Halo 4, on the other hand, has an extremely low population, and tons of hate directed at it. That should make it obvious that, as a game, it's piss-poor. It had a chance, and it failed. It was supposed to bring the series back to its former glory, but all it did was drag it further through the mud.
The only one naive is yourself.
Y'know, I actually wouldn't use the word 'ignorant' to describe you. No, I think 'in denial' is more appropriate. You can keep telling yourself that Halo 4 was a success, and that the series lost over half its population because 'they all lacked skill'.
Except 343 replaced the engine and got it going again after Reach seized it up.
No, they tried fixing an already totaled car and ended up dismantling it further.
The majority loves the game, we just don't all play it at once. The majority "leaves" every game.
Right. So, everybody was playing it all at once at launch, and then they all started playing in shifts of 20,000 or so? Halo 3 had several times that when it was a year old. Notice the sharp decline during the first few weeks. That was the majority realizing what a shitty game they bought and wisely selling it or leaving it to collect dust on their shelf.
343 stopped the train and let people off safely. Their act has been together.
No, they sped the train up so it'd crash and burn even faster.

Not at all, or I would have your mindset. Reach broke canon and encouraged spam as well as other noobish behavior due to broken/unbalanced mechanics. This has always been the case, and controversy ALWAYS guarantees more attention. Halo 4 has fantastic population and plenty of praise. Of course it has hate because of blind fanboys like yourself. It returned the series to its prime. The only one in denial is yourself. I often tell myself the truth. False, the care runs just fine. That chart isn't an accurate representation, nor is it relevant. Halo 4 is still one of the most played games on 360. Halo 3 didn't have nearly the amount of competition, and the fan-base was at the right age. Now we're adults with less free time and many more games to choose from. Halo 4 still gets well over 25,000 on weekends. The decline that happens with every game? Ya? It's irrelevant to bring up and just makes you look desperate and pathetic. That was the majority still playing it just not all at once, or leaving because they are bad at it, or leaving because they suck Bungie pee pee. That was Bungie with Reach.
-
It returned the series to its prime.
Just stop. You're making yourself look stupid.
-
The only one stupid is yourself.
-
No, because I didn't just say that bullshit claim that you said.
-
Except you did. What I claimed was true.
-
Halo 4 didn't return Halo to it's prime. No future Halo will bring it back to it's prime.
-
Except it did, and will continue I imagine.
-
How did it?
