The entire problem is, I can say "I'm a girl" and in all of my manliness strut into the girls locker room just so I can ogle them.
And if the school said "we know you aren't a girl, so get out of there." I'd sue them and skip high school with the millions.
It's Cali, if it can be written on an internet forum it will happen in that state.

That is such an ignorant argument. You cannot just say, "I feel like being trans* today.". Is this a joke to you or something? It is a serious issue that many people deal with and have to put up with unwarranted shit from a lot of idiotic people. You must see a therapist and be diagnosed with it, which I have been.

But since you are ignorant of its meaning I will not hold it against you since you did not willfully bend it to your purposes. Back to the topic. It's not a joke, there are people out there who will do anything for money, and it'd be incredibly easy for me to convince a therapist. Now, I wouldn't do it in a million years because I think it would be morally wrong, but we don't make laws with moral people in mind, do we?
That is such an ignorant argument. You cannot just say, "I feel like being trans* today.".

Gender Fluidity. Gender fluidity conveys a wider, more flexible range of gender expression, with interests and behaviors that may even change from day to day. Gender fluid children do not feel confined by restrictive boundaries of stereotypical expectations of girls or boys. In other words, a child may feel they are a girl some days and a boy on others, or possibly feel that neither term describes them accurately.
You're part of the problem. Stop spreading ignorance.

Edited by The Great DanTej: 1/3/2014 9:38:38 AMGender fluidity is such a crock of shit. If people could simply change their gender, then why the hell would any trans* person get a sex change? No, it's idiots confusing gender roles with gender.

It's only some people lad.
I'm not actually sure what part of my post you're replying to, or even what your reply is meant to mean.
That's okay, it'll come in time.
No, it's idiots confusing gender roles with gender.
Whoa there buddy, reasonable logic like that might get you lynched by those activist types.

Edited by qy: 1/3/2014 8:36:41 AMUnfortunately. This could feasibly be abused But being trans is actually pretty serious and it's good to have this legislation in place. Just imagine if you were a girl who had to change around a bunch of guys. Just imagine if you were a girl and you were a guy! Shit really sucks.

Define trans, it keeps changing depending on who I ask and how I Google it. Is it purely based on feeling? Or is it judged biologically?
-
Well, there isn't much science on it, but there is evidence to show that transpeople are literally trapped in the wrong body. MRI scans on male-to-female transsexuals -- even before hormone treatment -- show that some areas of the emotion center are that of their identifying gender and not their biological sex. Definitely interesting.

Ah, okay.
