Amazon Help

So I had a $50 gift card for Christmas which I used to order myself a game, and order my brother his gifts. The total came up to $45.45 so I have about 4 bucks left on the card. Amazon just sent me an email saying my payment was declined for both orders and my payment revision was required. I was thinking that maybe I typed in the card number wrong so I readded the card (which they removed for some reason) and had them reattempt the orders. I got an email saying they will try again to reattempt the order yet when I got to "My Orders" page it still says my Payment Revision is Required. Should I just wait a bit, is this normal? Does Amazon normally mess up like this?
