Not to defend pricing and such... but surely the 8% speed increase isn't the only improvement in the Mac Pro? Seems like a fairly narrow perspective to take.

What else could you say is better about it? I mean, there is the actual size of it, but other than that, honestly, what else is there?

No idea, I've never owned a Mac product and I didn't read the article, perhaps I'd just like to believe that the engineers who developed this product had more than increased efficiency in mind when they made it.

It's not about the final pricing. Developing a new product takes a lot of time and money, and I would hope that the people at the helm of that process would have a larger ambition than simply "Let's make it faster, TOUCH NOTHING ELSE." Again, I didn't read the article, whatever.
