I expected this to be a joke about how they're hard to spot because they're transparent. I am disappoint.

8 RepliesWhy post this kind of non-sense? We transgenders come to destiny or what ever game from bungie to actually play. Why don't you people stop posting shit like this? If you have questions about a transgenders opinion, you come to a transgender and ask questions. Not post stupid bs like this! Bigots and assholes will only respond and show their weakness because they have no -blam!-ing life. So I'm giving a warning, remove this bs you posted or I'm reporting for discrimination(Which is bannable.)

My eyes, mostly.

I look at their sex. No, I'm not going to consider a man as a girl and alter my reality to accommodate their reality.

Got worried for a second there, then I saw the date this was made. Why are there so many necrobumps lately?

Edited by Archon: 9/26/2014 10:20:41 AMIt's very difficult to see Transparent people, I have only met one though

I view everybody the same in a social setting. I don't care what gender you want to be or what gender you are attracted to. I do ask that you are honest with yourself and the people you hang out with though. In a professional setting, it is an entirely different matter. As a physician, especially when you present to the emergency department for an presumed emergency, I need to know what you are period. Not your choice or your identification. If you ever had any surgical alterations, I need to know that. In the emergency department it isn't a game. Decisions will be made in seconds based upon what gender you appear, and if you don't have the courage to speak up it could lead to harm.

Everyone and their dom is a trans these days accoring to the internet. It's annoying.
-
As people. No more. No less.
-
I see them as idiots

3 RepliesIf I'm being 100% honest. I see them as mentally challenged people.
-
I see them as the gender they identify with socially. I think that's the least you can do for anyone.

1 ReplyEdited by The Great DanTej: 12/20/2013 8:56:02 AMSame way I view depressed people, and anyone else who claims to have a mental illness. If they have gone to a doctor and been diagnosed with a condition, then I'll trust in the word of the experts and agree with their diagnosis. And if they're one those fetishists from tumblr who not only make life harder for real sufferers of the ilness but are twisted delusional -blam!-s themselves, I'm going to trust in logic and label them -blam!-. ------------- Just going to soapbox here, I kind of blame the LGBT in part for this piss poor situation trans people find themselves in. L, G and B all represent sexual orientations, T represents a mental ilness (that's not me trying to shit on trans people, merely stating a fact) - it doesn't really belong, but because it's there it sends out a mixed message, one that has been picked up by the absolute worst kinds of people on the internet.

Well, I say a person is whatever they are physically, if you have a dick, you're a guy, if you have a vagina, you're a gal. I don't care if you were born with it or not and I wouldn't think any less of a guy or girl who told me they were not born that way (I might not sleep with them though haha :P) What I do honestly find weird are guys with boob implants and female body mods, but still being a guy where it counts. That just throws me off and I think people shouldn't be deceptive about their gender, choose one, and be proud of it.
IT'S A TRAP
1 ReplyThey're whatever the hell they damn well want to be and anybody who has an issue with that can fuck off.

Never put thought into this question.

I see both. They were one gender. Got a little slicey dicey. Became their current gender. So I see them as what they identify with but I'll always know that they once had something different between their legs.

hell yeah

Call me a bigot/old fashioned/whatever, but you are what you're born as.

5 RepliesEdited by qy: 12/20/2013 11:47:57 PMlol I can't help but feel disappointed when I see all these well-intentioned people on the Flood spouting outdated misinformation on transsexuality. I didn't know it was this bad. Let's get one thing clear: Transsexuality is not a mental disorder. Gender is an orientation. You have no control over it, but it isn't an illness. Sort of in the same way that sexuality is something you have no control over, yet it isn't an illness to be gay or straight. Just because something falls out of the binary of "male = man," and "female = woman," doesn't mean it's a sick thing that needs treatment.
