I'll throw in my two cents. I've thought for a while that the seven seraphs are the Warminds, spread throughout the solar system to protect the traveler (God). as for the ghost being joyeuse, I think it's likely that we will be in contact with joyeuse but not involved with (wield) it directly. That will help preserve the sense that we're not the only superhero in the multiplayer world. I thought that maybe the masked man is osiris, only because Deej said he was an Npc in one of the mailsacks, and his clothes are pretty Egyptian. Thoughts?

Let's review what we know & see how it fits this theory... 7 Seraphs/7 locations visited by the Traveler before it eventually settled on Mars at the start of the Golden Age. - A great city was built around the Traveler during the Golden Age, and Charlemagne still resides within its ruins, which are guarded by the Cabal, who are currently fending off raids by the Vex. - Within the dense jungles located on the Shattered Coast of Venus, there are believed to be the remnants of a great colony which once housed the most brilliant minds of the Golden Age. This site is guarded by both the Vex and the Fallen... There are a total of 7 locations in the Solar System where the Traveler visited (according to the film shown at the Ronut at E3 2013) and where (according to the GameInformer interview with Jason Jones) the Traveler left a portion of itself. In these locations, are more remnants from the Golden Age (The Buried City on Mars, Venus' Shattered Coast (The Citadel, perhaps?), The Moon Base, The Cassini Fleet orbiting Saturn, Jupiter's moon Europa, An unnamed domed city on Mercury, and some undisclosed location either near the Sun or on Earth, such as Old Chicago.) Could each of these locations house a Warmind? Could the Warminds, in addition to being the "7 Seraphs" of the faction which bears their name, also be the pieces of the Traveler that we must collect in order to awaken it in time to battle the returning Darkness?

  • That sounds pretty interesting actually. I'll look into it.
