    EA haven't been [i]as[/i] bad this year. They did drop online passes to start with. They are far from perfect and still a bunch of assholes but they are slightly less assholey right now. Microsoft managed to take a respectable reputation and grind it so far into the dirt that they have basically done the PR equivalent of beating a toddler to death on stage. First impressions matter a hell of a lot, and their E3 reveal was disastrous to say the least.
