  • You don't know what a puppy mill is? Uhhh you really wouldn't want to google it.

  • Just did, another reason to hate America, this shouldn't be legal.

  • I really hope it becomes illegal.

  • Most pet retailers that carry dogs do. On one hand, it's great because it gives the dogs a second chance at a good life, on the other hand there's a couple points: A. It encourages the puppy mill business. B. A lot of the dogs that come from them have psychological issues, ones that standard dog trainers have a hard time addressing. In which case pet owners have to go to behaviorists, which can be pricey. At that point a good portion of the owners either give up on the dog and take him/her back to a shelter, or have him/her euthanized. I feel like they go with puppy mills because they're cheaper, but I wonder why more businesses don't get their dogs via shelters. But it all boils down to a lot of these places don't really care about the animals they're selling.

  • Honestly I wouldn't say I'd ever support any business that supports puppy mills.

  • Nor would I, I'm still surprised that puppy mills are even allowed anymore. Any business that goes with them clearly don't care about the animals they sell.
