Well.. I don't really see any... Neither is a good system but I'd say communism is by far a worse one.
AND before flaming at me, I'm talking about the hypothetical forms, not the -godwinslaw!- facism or the CCCP communism.

Then you either don't understand communism or fascism or your reasoning is just retarded.

I think I do but in the name of interest, please define communism and fascism for me.

Edited by Mister Sparkles : 12/7/2013 1:41:39 PMCommunism is a classless, stateless society based on free individuals cooperating in a gift economy, and (most likely) living in democratic communes. Fascism is totalitarian system, whereby there is an all-powerful government used to mobilise the people on the grounds of ultra-nationalism and militarism. It favours war, imperialism, and obedience to the state.

Okay. I'd like to highlight the particular property of communism that is one of the main reasons to it's inevitable failure: The lack of private property This leads to problems as it is the basic human nature to be a selfish bastard. With no possibility to gather wealth by by hard work, the work morale collapses and the economy is basically dead. This could of course be countered by introducing a state-like organ to force people to work but that'll just lead to two possible scenarios: slavery of the people or a revolution. And thibk of the situation where every one gets an equal share of the produced goods etc, when the amount of work differs. imagine what would happen if a surgeon and a clerk would be rewarded equally. Who would want to study for 10 years in order to achieve nothing but academical pride? Some but not many. Communism Is incompatible with the human nature and therefore It'll never work.
This leads to problems as it is the basic human nature to be a selfish bastard.
This is such an empty argument. By any measure of logic, it is human nature to be generous, kind, loving, content or any other 'positive' trait. People are an amalgam of traits and possible attributes which are shaped by the circumstance at hand. There is nothing more to human nature than acting with one's self-interest in mind, and capitalism forces this self-interest to be, mostly, manifested as materialistic, selfish, greedy and competitive. Also, people aren't "rewarded" equally. Rewards are charactised by a rewarder. The situation is simply that those who work have access to goods, and those, and only those, who are passionate enough about an area will be putting the effort in. Either way, capitalism is bound to destroy itself, and socialism - eventually perhaps communism given the correct circumstances - is the solution.
