Yeah, worked 17 days straight before about 10 hours a day. That shit sucks.

HAHAHHAHAHHA. 17 days, 10 hours a day.

Yeah, when you work in a foundry that stays 110 degrees it's kind of shitty. How's your air conditioned job treating you?

Edited by Gamerz_Property: 12/4/2013 2:07:38 AMNot saying your job isn't hard. . . I was doing 12 hour days for a year and a half. With an average of 3 - 5 hours of sleep a night. -.- Thankfully - since I've moved, I chose to only work parttime and take a LONG needed break. . .
-
No way I can do that. I'll get seizures if I go without sleep for too long. You're a hard working lady.

12 hour days doing what?
-
I had 3 jobs. When I had a day off - I slept. :(
-
Yeah, but what were you doing?

I managed an After School Program, Babysat, and worked in Electronics at Target. I took on a lot of jobs because my fiance moved 3 - 4 hours away, and in order to pay another $300 more on him driving back and forth to see each other. My babysitting I was at the house at 3am doing 'motherly' thing such as cleaning, laundry, breakfast, take kids to school. Took kids to school at 8am~, Management was from 10am - 6pm, and Target was usually a closing shift from 6:30(ish) and on. This was practically a daily schedule sometimes I didn't have to work the evening at Target, but I'd have full shifts on the weekends along with odd jobs of babysitting. It was a hard year and a half. I absolutely needed a break. :(

The other stuff can build up by the retail business isn't hard just frustrating. But at least you have your priorities straight.

Your comment is exactly what it was like! I ended up quitting Target because it was more stress added than needed. It's really true within the whole 'you just do it till it becomes normal' because it felt so normal. It was hard to sleep even when I had a day off because I was always anxious. When I finally moved - I had a straight 8 hours of sleep without waking up every hour. . .it's been so nice. xD Now my fiance is working 2 jobs. xD
