Looking at the parts in my PC, I can't help but wonder... how the -blam!- did mine cost £2000? I mean, sure I paid £450 for the graphics card (GTX 680 OC, only the 2GB though), a few hundred on the CPU, ~£150 for the mobo, £150 for the case, ~£150 on the RAM, ~£100 on the SSD, ~£70 on the HDD and... that's it isn't it £1070... What? Am I missing something here? I'mma see if I can find the receipts.
-
The prices have probably gone down since you bought your parts. Plus, $1070 is less than £1070.
-
The cost of parts in the US is the same as in the UK number-to-number, which really pisses me off. A $600 graphics card costs £600 here. -blam!- that for a game of laughs.

Your credit card got hax'd. obviously...

Hmm, well I've found the invoices for all the parts. CPU was actually £260, GPU was actually £470, mobo was £160, SSD was £125, tower was £130, HDD was actually £100, I forgot the PSU which was £90, and as it turns out, the RAM was actually only £74, not £150. Must have been on offer. So that's... £1400 ish. Actually this is making more sense. Add the OS, a small selection of games and the other software I bought, and it comes to around £1800. So yeah, I must have made a whoopsie. Then add the £500 monitor and we have our £2300 setup. False alarm. Me a derp. STILL HOWEVER, that's a lot of dolla for not a lot of machine. Me feels a bit miffed.

Yeah, you might've been able to get better deals. But you live and you learn, right?

Thanks!

I personally would advise against the evo 212 cooler and go with an H80i if the case could accommodate it. It may be worth the price...

Check the OP, I made some changes and dropped the price.
