Quit the damage control. It is a very real expectation to at least expect PSN to be working on day one, especially since you have to download a patch to even use most of your console. Sony dropped the ball here.
Did I expect things to be a bit slow? You betcha, it comes with the launch day territory. Did I expect things to just flat out not work? No, because you should never have to expect that the product you paid for wont work. This is only a couple million people at most using PSN at the same time when compare that to the number of PS3s that log on daily this 2 million really shouldn't have been an issue. Neither the PS3 or 360 launches had anything like this happen with their online networks on launch.
And PSN, the thing you need to connect to to even use 75% of what you paid for doesn't. I sure hope you don't bash any Microsoft fans if the X1 has launch day live issues considering you're fine with PSN not even working.
