No, there is only one major city left on Earth.
WE HAVE NO MILITARY ASSETS IN SPACE
WE HAVE NO MAJOR FORCE MULTIPLIERS
IT'S OVER
English
-
we have space ships we could easily put assets into space.
-
Yeah, in space alone with an alien armada
-
by that logic going any farther than earth orbit is a hopelessly suicidal task and no more than maybe one lucky guardian ship should be able to make it to mars.
-
But the personal ships are moving targets that won't be detected immediately, an orbiting satellite causing mass destruction will catch a lot of attention and a huge force would be sent to destroy it. As far as we know the only reason we can even defend our own city is because of the Travaler, how are we supposed to defend this one or multiple satellites? Unless there were some way to extend the Travelers protection to other areas, but to me it seems like the Travelers giving about all it's got to the Last City's protection and to the powers of the Guardians.

it wouldn't have to be a satellite. it could be a round that was put into orbit and then activated and de orbited at a command. I mean a 20 foot tungsten rod placed in orbit hits the earth with the equivalent force as the largest atom bombs. Something the size of a bowling ball and very dense cant be good for ones health.
-
My bad, I assumed satellite because of the picture. How would a round that was placed in orbit be forced back into the atmosphere on command?

Edited by Mirzababa: 11/13/2013 4:47:40 AMYou're ship has to be upgraded to make it further out in space, think Mass Effect 2 style. Who will pilot the ship? Auto pilot won't be sufficient for it would require a super advanced A.I. Ghost are already speculated to be Dumb A.I.
-
so if their is a huge alien armada they will blow you to atoms

Edited by Mirzababa: 11/13/2013 4:58:29 AMNot if your ship has proper upgrades to avoid their sensors, deflect there lasers, outrun them etc.

I believe The Traveler caused humans to gain a proper foothold to be able to do these things
