Nietzsche was pretty influential. Particularly among the the far-left and far-right political groups (but the extent to which he influenced Hitler is highly debatable).
On a personal level, though, I would certainly say that Nietzsche is one of, if not the most, influential.
it's my understanding that nietzsche seriously influenced / inspired existential philosophy, quite a few artists, several individualists and not much else, whereas with more famous philosophers like kant hume and descartes you have influence on basically everyone who comes after them.
I was talking on a purely personal level. In the sense that Nietzsche is the philosopher who I most agree with, or who influences how I view the world the most. Followed by the likes of Schopenhauer and, metaphysically, Kant. Of course, they had philosophers who influenced them, but like I said, personal.
Discounting this, existentialism is still quite a major form of philosophical discourse.
