On a more personal note, I gave the Gold to one of my friends by slowing down in the last 2 seconds so he could pass me because he supported me up the hills and crested super well. *Not literally* After all, it is a team sport. Sorry if this isn't understandable. I'm used to using cross country terms. Thanks for asking!

But long story story short, I injured myself day before the run, so I was knocked down to JV. Buuuuuuut, the other teams put 2 of their Varsity runners *each* onto JV, so that they could win it. My friend and I *He's JV#1, I'm technically Varsity, but injured.... yeah, we all got hurt....* still pulled through and won it. And now we're going to the Prelims!
