effin-A progo you thug. This is so much win, I'm all about this idea. I would definitely like to see/hear birds fluttering away after a loud sniper bang as well. Or how sick would it be to see some little fox like creature run past you and you turn around and see a fallen squad charging in the distance. That seems like it might be beyond the scope of the engine for this game, but still it would be awesome if they included it, or something similar.

But don't a lot of the locations lack atmosphere? That would kind of put a damper on this concept.

ohhh, I get it, atmosphere... bu-duh-ting! But could point, that's why I used Venus as an example. I figure the whole vacuum concept will work better for horror scenes.

Yeah. And I can't see worth a shit so I rely heavily on auditory ques whether it's a game or real life. I would love this kind of ambient feedback.
