I watch the gameplay video several times a week, I had a thought about greater immersion. I believe that whilst doing a strike in a place like the wall in Old Russia there has to be more than one entrance. While walking/exploring around I think hearing distant gun fire would add to the ambiance, or when in combat and you have seeked cover to hear distant gun fire. I wear headphones when playing that have digital surround sound. Doing something like distant gun fire from random angles would make me feel like there really are other fire teams in the area.
Any thoughts on other such things that would maybe improve your immersion?
...I think I"ll say distant gun fire one more time lol

3 RepliesIMO There would be no better immersion than seeing/hearing other players in the distance. "Doing something like distant gun fire from random angles would make me feel like there really are other fire teams in the area. " I like this, but I don't think they would have to add fake gunfire, I'm pretty sure you are going to be hearing it a lot, naturally, lol a LOT of people will be playing this game

Audio is probably the best means of immersion. And yes surround space will hopefully get a lot of attention

5 RepliesWell seeing how in the game it's set to be that you are the only person in a given area unless you have people with you or you enter a public area I think the sound of distant gun fire wouldn't make much sense.
