• Drone strikes are good. Drones allow for more precise military strikes without putting as many of your own troops in harms way. It also cuts down on casualties and innocent bystanders.

 • While I do support drone strikes, there are consequences to be considered in their utilization. Like I outlined above, they can and have been used in recruitment efforts by the various terrorist organizations and militant groups we target. Not to mention that they are an excellent propaganda piece for al-Qaeda. The problem herein lies our over-reliance on using drones as a means for actually being a strategy. You are right, however, that they are more precise, they do cut down on collateral damage and they do stop us from actually putting boots on the ground; along with some other benefits like I also outlined. I'm not sure if you were based on that short of a post, but looking at this as a viable strategy (This is geared more so towards armed drones. Not drones used for surveillance, which is an entirely different thing.) of only using drones is not the best move forward.
