I'm just curious. Tell us which title was your first taste of Bungie action and adventure. This is a census, as well as a chance to walk down memory lane.
And, sorry to those of you that want to vote specifically for Myth, Marathon, or ONI. The polls on Bungie.net don't support that level of detail.

I said Halo combat evolved, then realised I rented ONI from blockbuster before that. Dang it!
-
We'll, I have to say the first time I tried a bungie product was Halo CE demo for computer. First game I owned was Halo 3 and I have been in love ever since.
-
Oni was my first Bungie game, but it wasn't until I saw the logo on Halo: CE's box art that I made the connection. I was incredibly young, far too young to be playing a mature rated game. Cringe-worthy incoming: I can safely say I grew up with Bungie. Even applied to work there when I was 15. I'm still waiting for that call, guys.
-
My first Bungie game was Halo CE. I remember going to my cousins house all the time and playing the campaign on Legendary many times.
-
Gnop! was my first! JK, not that vintage. Came to Bungie at CE, along with a good majority of people.

Bought the original Xbox for Halo 2 because IRL friends wouldn't leave me alone about it. Loved the game and sunk many, many hours into it and drained many, many, many a beer playing MP matches. Didn't continue with the series though. Went PS3 and always longed for a Bungie Halo experience. My liver however was glad I went with the PS.

I bought a 360 just for Halo 3 and the first Mass Effect.
-
33 RepliesMy first Bungie game was Oni. I might still have that Golden Age artifact lying around somewhere. When I get my Ghost edition in I'll ask Beauford(my ghost) to help me find it lol.
-
My first experience was on Halo: Combat Evolved at a friends house but I consider Halo 2 my first true Bungie game as I went out and purchased it.
-
Played Halo 2 at a friends every time i went over. So i went out and bought an xbox and Halo CE. Halo 3 was the first game i ever anticipated.
-
Was beasting for Halo Combat Evolved OMG i had so much fun and great memories in that game. all about that LAN party going to a friends house or having friends come over was way to awesome.
-
Myth: The Fallen Lords in 97 (and I wasn't that young). Bungie payed special attention to physics concepts and sound effects.
-
I played first Oni in the PC, i remember it was difficult but very fun =)
-
9 RepliesDoes Halo CEA count? It still technically is Halo CE with updated graphics.
-
Started with Halo: CE, I still remember the first time I got to the mission "343 Guilty Spark" it scared the hell out of me.
-
Myth here! Loved leveling enemies with powder charges.

First halo

4 RepliesEdited by Vampire Nox: 7/31/2014 7:34:51 PMMarathon was my first experience with a Bungie game. Then came Myth (which I wasn't really a fan of), but Marathon really hooked me. I haven't quit following the studio over the years. Edit = my aging memory failed me.

Original halo

LAN parties those were the days.
-
Marathon was my first on a Macintosh! That grenade launcher... I miss those pixelated days.

5 RepliesYou are all 12. Yet you pretend to be older.
-
Myth: The Fallen Lords. The game chewed me up and spit me out due to its rather unforgiving nature.
-
All I can say is we all know somebody older so that makes you younger then somebody out there.
