We don't blame murder victims for being killed. Why do we blame -blam!- victims?

If I'm running illegal drugs with a bunch of dangerous criminals in the wrong part of the neighborhood and I get murdered, I technically do take some responsibility for what happens to me. Same thing with a drunk woman dressed provocatively around pervs at a club or something. What can you expect, yaknow?

Actually no one blames them directly, they just say they contributed to. If you beat up a guys baby, no one will be surprised if you get killed for it. So that murder analogy doesn't really hold up. Actually there's many cases where it's exactly the opposite.
