Before 2010, games based on the Transformers franchise were known to not be very good. That was until High Moon Studios released one under the label of Call of Duty publisher Activision that same year, called Transformers: War For Cybertron. It was well received by critics and by the fanbase. As a part of that fanbase, I can say that I liked it as well. A third-person shooter about the early days of the war between the Autobots and Decepticons with excellent controls and, compared to CoD, supposedly had the most mature online community since the Halo games. Yes, the game had multiplayer in it. However, it did receive criticism for the poor enemy AI.
With the ideas of the success and criticism WFC received, HMS went back to the drawing board and in 2012, they released Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, telling the story of the Autobots' and Decepticons' struggle to leave their homeworld, depleted of its once-rich sources of energy. It improved the things people disliked about the first game, like the AI and covered positions. It also gave us the ability to create our own Transformers and show them off in the multiplayer, which was a bit more chaotic than the predecessor's version. It was even more successful than the previous game, especially for the fanbase. However, there were a few things I didn't like about it, mainly the state-the-obvious dialogue and the colorful environments compared to its predecessor's darker ones. Other than that, I thought it was great.
So my question is this: Should High Moon Studios make another Transformers game and what should they put in it? Seeing how I liked them both, I say they should. I think that if they are released on the next-gen consoles, they can find a way to implement their graphical features to make worlds look more realistic. What are your thoughts?

2 RepliesSo long as they aren't base on those Michael Bay atrocities, they can make as many as they like.
