I've never heard of polar form before. Do you mean standard form as in y=mx+b?

What does the "m" mean in y=mx+b? When I say "polar form" it's definitely not "standard form", but it still might help me to know what that "m" means.
-
I imagine he most likely means polar since it is quite hard to get the two confused. One is the slope-intercept form for a linear function the other is a coordinate system.
-
m=slope=rise/run

Oh yeah, well I don't think that can directly help me with this problem, but thanks a bunch for trying to help me :)
-
How the hell are you converting to polar and don't know what m means?

I'm taking a math class that's a tiny bit above what most other college freshman are taking, but I still had to look up the definition of denominator a couple weeks ago to remember what it was... Let's just say I have a terrible memory for math lol
-
I'm currently taking College Algebra which all freshmen have to take, but even I forgot how to add/subtract and multiply/divide fractions lol
-
I'm not alone at my math memory sucking lol
-
I forgot how to use my brain. wat do

consume the brain of the nearest person...

I'm in basic college math. There are no brains in here, just boobs, brawn and boners. A room full of apes
