I think a nano suit will come before a reasonable power armor suit, no way it would work.

The Nanosuit is on the more extreme end of fictional armor, actually. We'll get something like MJOLNIR long before we get something like the Nanosuit...if it's even possible.

For example, how would this armor suit multiply chiefs strength and reflexes? http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20091201214246/halo/images/f/f1/Halo3MC.jpg In other words what is the black material between the armor plates? It's some sort electromechanical nano fiber I'm guessing.

Not sure it's even possible to multiply reaction time like that.
In other words what is the black material between the armor plates? This suit has numerous functions, small but vital to the safety and survival of the wearer. The bodysuit is made of a titanium-based material, making it very strong and yet very flexible. It also serves as another layer of protection against ballistics attacks and is coated with a heat resistant material to disperse heat from plasma weapons." So, no, it isn't an "electromechanical nano fiber" or whatever you just made up there. It's also pretty shit, since titanium makes godawful body armor.

I don't think you understand what I said. You know how there are gaps in the exoskeleton at the joints (elbow, knee, shoulder)? Explain how the exoskeleton can help you lift something if it's not even connected to your arms. That's leaves the interior layer, which would have to have some type of adaptive structural properties in order to allow chief to do the things he does. What I'm trying to say is the science behind mjolnir armor is flawed, it wouldn't work using only the science which is attributed to it by the lore.

I disagree. The ability to make mjolnir armor would require the use of nano materials for force multiplication, in which case making a nano suit would be more practical anyway, mjolnir armor will never happen.

We'll have MJOLNIR within the next decade or two. The Nanosuit, on the other hand, is borderline magic. We'll never have anything that can grow into wounds and copy your personality, nor keep you alive when you're a corpse.

>"The ability to make mjolnir armor would require the use of nano materials for force multiplication" Please stop trying to sound like an expert when you clearly don't know what you're talking about. The US army already has primitive powered exoskeletons (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hkCcoenLW4), none of your nano materials required, just regular robotics. Give a soldier one of those with a thick layer of Dragon Scale body armour (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XjcVGZtM8UI#t=1m20s) and you've got yourself a powered suit of armour.

People have already invented exosuits that can multiply human strength without the use of nanotechnology. Good luck making a Nanosuit that can allow somebody to jump 10 feet and throw cars before a heavy metal powered suit of plate armor.
