My nephew is 13 and wants to play GTA V very badly, so I vouched to allow him even though it may not be my place. At the age of 13 I had already seen most if not all of what is contained in GTA and my parents were very guarding of me. Little did they no I had played GTA 3 and was not at all influenced to kill anybody, hold heists etc. So #gaming tell me you opinion and back it up.

1 ReplyUnless if there "mature" enough to play. Not on there to swear or troll or just take play seriously.

1 ReplyEdited by Derpavore: 10/9/2013 12:17:31 AMIm 13 and when I was seven my older brother let me play halo 3 against him he creamed me but I had a great time after that I fell in love with action shooters and secretly played them at friends houses for hours, but I have no killing urges have friends and am a good grade student. One thing I notice though is I seem to get angrier at things but only slightly. I just asked my parents for GTA 5 and got a no but I persisted and wrote a essay thing (which is not normal for me), and it worked they let me get and I love it and still don't feel like I want to do anything evil or mean to somebody else. Most of the jokes references and swears I understood or already knew but that is me not your nephew. DO NOTE the game has strong language and very suggestive themes that could prove negative on a kid new to games like gta. I back you man:D

3 RepliesProbably not? I mean, outside of a few cutscenes, the game's biggest sketchy stuff involves some pretty standard level of video game violence, a little nudity, and some bad language, and I was fine with that stuff at that age, but, maybe it's a case-by-case deal. The second some of Trevor's scenes come up, though, man... Then it's a whole thing.

5 RepliesI would let my little brother who is even younger than that screw around in Free Roam, but I wouldn't let him do the missions.
