To me,and many others, regenerating health is the bane of the modern shooter,with only a few games actually making it work with the gameplay formula (like Halo for instance,even though I most definitely prefer the shield+health bar from Halo:CE, Halo:ODST and Halo:Reach) it simplifies the gameplay and removes any threat or danger if you can just crouch behind some rubble and suck your thumb until your bullet wounds heal instantly and you wipe red jam from your eyes. I personally would love to se health potions ala most medieval fantasy games,and I don't think they would be out of place in Destiny's setting, or maybe even a throwback to recharge stations like in Marathon or Half-Life 2. At the very least a shield plus health system.
