I was one of those dumb idiots that bought into the Zune... biggest mistake. I don't give a shit about space, I want to own the items I spend my money on.
When a company stops support of a digital product...the consumer gets screwed.

Damn, you had a Zune? I pity you ha.
-
Yup...the H3 one. It actually is a solid device, as that beast has been beat to shit, drowned, and still work...but the service and DRM really turned me against MS and when they stopped support....ugh. Thanks to Adobe I was able to break the DRM though.

I would never have tried it myself, heard too many awful things about Zune. I suppose it partially working through things outside of MS made it better though.
-
Hehehe, it was a very expensive lesson.
-
How much did it cost at first?
-
Edited by Sack Of Dongles: 10/5/2013 5:16:37 AMJust under 200 USD. That was for the Zune, and the Halo Trilogy soundtrack, trailer, and RvB Bloodgultch bundle. At the time it was almost 100 bucks cheaper than the iPod.

Ehh ha, sounds expensive to me regardless. I was happy with my Ipod Nano for like three years.

Yeah, I thought the fact that the Zune and XBL all ran off the point system, so my leftover points got me songs, was great. That was short lived.

Ha I think I remember seeing that notice. Sorry mang.
