I don't look forward to the naval combat. I look forward to the free running and sword fighting. Plus on next-gen is just looks orgasmic.

The solution is the chain shots a few of those will knock the sails out and you can board it much quicker and sword fight on the ship. Bam solution

And then can I stabby stabby face stab? Because if so then awesome, I can do stuff other than on ACIII which was oh shoot shit. And on ACIV: Black Flag they were like: "Well the naval shit was the least boring part of the game so let's make a whole f.ucking game out of it! Nobody will hate that! Except for everybody"
-
What are you talking about? The naval combat in ACIII is one of the saving graces for it.
-
No, it was one of its few shortcomings. It was easily the best game ever made.
-
lolno ACII >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ACIII
-
LOL no.
-
ACIII was slow, clunky, glitchy, boring, bad story, bad protagonist, hardly any verticality etc. ACIII is the worst game in the franchise.
-
All of those are false except for the bad protagonist which is true. It's not the worst game in the franchise. AC Revelations clearly is.
-
Revelations was only bad because of how dragged and pointless the story was. ACIII on the other hand...
-
Revelations was only bad because of how dragged and pointless the story was. ACIII on the other hand...
Was perfect? Yes I agree, it was perfect :p
-
It really wasn't. Combat was clunky, free-funning was even more simplified than it was before, glitchy, bad story, bad characters, shitty horse mechanics, hardly any verticality.
-
Wrong, wrong, wrong, maybe, wrong, yeah, kinda.
-
If ACIII had the combat of Brotherhood/Revelations it would have been better. Free-running, you only had to hold the trigger unlike previous games because they implemented this "safe free-running" mechanic, so you wouldn't fall when climbing. There were many glitches in ACIII. Connor was bland as shit, his Mother was bland as shit, Haytham was hardly developed in the game (he has a book based around his story), Achilles was bland as shit.

-
Yep you can stabby stabby face stab
-
Yay! ^_^
-
It does. Naval Combat was great though, IMO. In AC3, it was a high point.
-
I don't think it was. I like the stabby stabby though.
-
You may not like AC4 then, obviously, it has a huge focus on Naval Combat.
-
Aw :( But I wanna play in the new modern world story mostly more than the Past. Because I wanna play after the end of the modern story in ACIII.
-
Me too, should be interesting to see how that turns out.
-
True. Who cares about f.ucking Naval combat
Now that Desmond's dead, who's gonna be the guy who goes into the Animus and why is it gonna be that guy??
These are all things that I need to find out about. Shooting people's faces off with a ship cannon's not important.
-
It is actually. Because, you are a pirate. You have to do naval combat, it's not optional. It's a huge focus. There's like 60% land based gameplay and 40% naval based gameplay Ubisoft says. Also
You play as an abstergo agent relieving the past of someone else. You use someones DNA to do it. I think
-
Aw, but what about Desmond's story? It was so generic and I was hoping he was going to save the world but now we're going to be focussing on somebody else? That just sucks! And it's still mostly land based, I just hope we don't have consecutive ship levels. I might throw my game at the f.ucking wall if that happens.

God damn, the harpooning part at the end of the video really sold it for me, the commentator also mentioned us being able to hunt bigger fish, such as Blue whales and Great White sharks, imagine that! Sounds like a lot of fun.
