Comparisons make things easier to understand, you know just as much as anybody that America is a place everybody knows something about. If I talk about another country and I know the UK is different I use the UK as an example because it makes it easier for me to get my point across because I know what the country is like. Everybody knows American schools don't have a uniform so it was easier to say "the American way" than type out another sentence. You can claim im obsessed all you want but it's not true, just something the lot of you like to believe.
