When I was looking back in the year, I remembered a topic my Senior Aerospace Science Instructor brought up in ROTC about space exploration. He asked us if we thought further exploration of space was worth the large amounts of money and time we put into it. I would like to hear responses from the rest of you about the topic. Keep in mind this is about further exploration, not about the stuff we've already done such as satellites and all that.

Definitely, though currently only a very small percent is going to NASA and other space agencies around the world. I understand the fact that space travel and exploration is risky, but it would be impossible to improve our methods of extraterrestrial travel unless we build test vehicles. I doubt the original model-t was a safe car, same with the first airplanes but we still continue to use and improve both today. Space should be the same way
