Could the Vex be on a mission to create life?
Look at this image. It's a picture of the Black Garden, located godknowswhere.
You can go back and [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=Y1OjUWw43co#t=36]look at that yourself[/url] in the Vidoc to get a closer look at some of the metalwork the Guardian is walking on. It is very similar to [url=http://destinyguardian.com/community/uploads/gallery/album_3/gallery_1_3_43538.jpg]this image[/url]. It's clearly of Vex origin.
Now, remember that portal we saw [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=EwOUi4JDC4o#t=198]back in the first Vidoc[/url]? It too, is clearly of Vex origin and set on Venus- in fact, it shares so many similarities with the previous pic that I would speculate that they are the same location. My theory is that this portal leads to another place with Vex (obviously). I would say that the place it leads to is The Black Garden, since the Garden is set in such a strange, unfamiliar place and they are both are somehow related to the Vex.
So what would an armada of time-traveling machines want to do with a Garden full of life?

Seems almost like a lab. All the plants are methodically divided into batches. Maybe the Vex are growing a poisonous plant?

1 ReplyMy initial thought was that Venus is an inhospitable planet and I was looking forward to some hidden backstory on just how humanity colonized the most volatile planet in the solar system. When I first heard of the black garden I had an idea. Perhaps the garden is the location of a terraform machine of some sorts, something capable of turning fire filled worlds like Venus into lush jungle worlds. Maybe the Vex have come through time to search for such technology?
