Reach? Ya, luckily I am playing Halo 4.
-
Heres an idea.....If you don't like it..... don't comment on it.... If you don't play halo 4 then how does this apply to you?
-
This is a forum or have you forgotten that?
-
yes in which you are supposed to discuss things. have you forgotten that?
-
I'm just saying. I guess he can say whatever e wants though.
-
If people are willing to give you a chance time and again, why can't we do that with a game we enjoy?
-
People still play Reach?
-
People still play Halo Reach and Halo 4?
-
I liked reach...frustrating, but tons of fun.
-
Yeah. Not everyone has the same tastes as you. I hate CoD, but people love it to death. I don't ostracize them for it.
-
Only 30k and dropping. That's nothing compared to previous Halo's.
-
Maybe you should realise that it's not the same 30K online all the time. The area Halo 4 fails most at, is that it doesn't reward you enough for your skill. That's why not as many people play it. The population argument grows tiresome.
-
You don't need any skill what-so-ever to play Halo 4.
-
Just because you lack skill doesn't make this statement true.
-
Saying that is a blatant lie. Someone from Call of Duty going and playing Halo leads to a disaster. Same with any other game as Halo has a very unique style of gampelay.
-
One word. Ordinance.
-
dont play the -blam!-ing playlists with ordnance than jesus christ
-
Here's a crazy idea. Why don't 343 get their shit straight and sort out the mess known as Halo 4.
-
if you dont know Halo 4 is too far gone to be repaired. but the shit people still complain about are easily avoidable.

*Ordnance While I will agree, it is random and definitely needs to be structured better. I prefer it to Bloom. Bloom added an element of random to nearly every part of the game barring power weapons. It's really not fun when everyone's bullet's are going stray unless you wait half a second for your reticle to reset. If someone gets Ordnance and they suck at aiming, guess what, they're probably going to die.

Ordnance needs to be removed completely.
-
Except in Reach bloom was broken and the spammer won while you were punished for pacing. Learn how to counter an ordinance! THAT is skill! Ordinance is perfectly fine.
-
Ordnance doesn't need to be removed, just instead of having it like a kill streak AND death streak needs to be taken out, make it where it is an only death streak thing and that would be perfect.
-
No. Why should you get rewarded for dying? It needs to be removed as a whole.

Edited by Lord of Admirals: 8/22/2013 2:24:09 AM
That's why you paced your shots instead of spamming.
You see, that's how it was supposed to work on paper. You pace your shots and you win. In reality though, no one paces their shots. And not pacing your shots doesn't punish players enough. Bloom will actually reward players who don't follow the system. Additionally, the innacuracy of Bloom makes weapons like the DMR unparralleled in CQC.
What about a rocket launcher? Incineration cannon? SAW? Ordnance needs to be removed completely.
As I said. The system needs heavy tweaking. The Rocket Launcher, yeah, I can see that. Often though, the excess amount of ammo given normally ensures that you'll die and the enemy will be able to use it. A minor justification, but not a good one. Inceneration Cannon is so incredibly rare. It's easier to find it on the map. The SAW is nothing more than a handheld turret. While it is extremely powerful, it's extreme rapid fire and innacuracy can lead to the user's death. As I said, Ordnance is unbalanced. It needs to change. But it's a system I prefer more than Bloom. The in-game populations of Halo 4 have also shown that the majority of the player base enjoys Personal Ordnance. It won't leave, but in the future, I'm hopeful that Skill Based Playlists with visible ranks will be barebones classic Halo.
