Why are people against this? I wouldn't want to live with a transexual or gay person so if this keeps them away from me it makes me happy.

You do know this keeps you closer to those gay people right?
-
So I get it that your a bigot? I agree you should have the choice to get away from those filthy fa.ggots and tranny fu..cks but I don't see why it's so compulsory.
-
Wtf why?
-
They make me uncomfortable.
Wtf why?
Edited by Fleshjack: 8/14/2013 3:33:24 AMIt just does. I don't ask what makes people gay. It's none of my business.
-
You're no better than a racist.
-
Why is it that if gay people are uncomfortable around straights, it's completely justifiable but if you go that otherway, you are a racist or bigot?
-
Because there aren't gay people that are uncomfortable around straight people, and if there were, they would be no better than a racist.
-
LOL. The entire point of this thread is because gay people are uncomfortable around straight same-sex people.
-
No, it's because gay people are uncomfortable around people like you who have an irrational fear of them.
-
But they don't have to generalize it too all opposite sex people.
-
They don't. Seriously, how can you live with yourself knowing that you are this bigoted?
-
I don't choose to be uncomfortable just like you don't claim to not choose to be gay.
-
If you actually realized that there is literally no reason for the way that you feel, you wouldn't be uncomfortable anymore.
-
just go away fleshjack
-
I don't hate those kind of people. I just feel uncomfortable around them. I mean why would you be against something makes others people more comfortable.
-
I don't hate black people, I just feel uncomfortable around them. Is that an acceptable statement?

I am not against gay marriage. You guys still try to make an inaccurate caricature of me since I joined this group. I am going to be honestly. I am starting my senior year and I have to start thinking about colleges that I might go to and the whole idea of getting a gay or whatever roommate is a true fear that I have.
-
Edited by dr0cx: 8/14/2013 3:35:37 AMThe point of me posting that is not about the marriage portion, but the final panel. "I think gay people are icky." By your own admission, that is you. Newsflash: Gay people don't want to force their man meat in your bum.
-
You don't have to live with people you don't want to. This isn't about you.
-
Somtimes roommates are randomly selected so if this separates them from the batch it makes it better for everyone.

Edited by Seggi: 8/14/2013 3:00:52 AM1. Gender specific housing does not mean you will be housed based on your sexual orientation. You are, in fact, more likely to be roommates with a gay man without gender neutral options. 2. Gender neutral options are options. You're not forced to live with a woman. 3. Your trans/homophobia should not enter into considerations, except those aimed at protecting oppressed people from having to deal with your vapid, small-minded bullshit. If your bigotry makes you uncomfortable, that's your problem.

Edited by Fleshjack: 8/14/2013 3:16:25 AMLets say there are 10 gay people out of a 100 people. That is a 10% chance that I get matched with a gay person if it's random with no gender neutral housing. If 5 of those gay people choose gender neutral housing then there is a 5% chance that I get matched with a gay person which is twice as less likely.
