^The video isn't mine, I only just found it after googling for "red and blue lights in the sky."
I was camping with some friends as a celebratory "we finished our current exams" shindig. A friend's boyfriend, another guy and I were sitting by the campfire after everyone else had gone to sleep.
At about 2am, I noticed the light in the sky sort of similar to the one in the video. It flashed red and blue and was just staying still at first.
After a while, it started moving about. Sometimes erratic movements, other times slowly drifting upwards or to the right.
At around 3am we decided that it couldn't be a helicopter. I mean.. with at least an hour of staying relatively still (apart from inconsistent movements back and forth every so often), it couldn't be a copter, right? With such a clear night too and the fact we were in the countryside we should have been able to hear it.
Any clue to what we saw?

Interesting. Maybe you should send it here

3 RepliesYou didn't see anything. The flashing pattern looks as though it would be a small single engine plane's standard port and starboard wing lights.

A lot of these UFO lights are Chinese lanterns.

Everyone chill out. It's just Eärendil sailing the skies with his Silmaril.
-
Could be aliens, or you came across a military aircraft test.

4 RepliesEdited by Saleem: 8/11/2013 10:38:17 AMBack in December my brother and I saw something in the night sky. I will let you know that the feelings I felt when I watched that thing move across the sky, tilt, turn, and shoot up into the sky at unimaginable speeds left me in pure fear and awe. Consider yourself lucky, not everyone gets to see them. As for me, I now have my proof to know we aren't alone.

6 RepliesOne time when I was awake at like 3am I saw weird pulsating rings of yellow light in the sky. I'm not one to jump to conclusions, so I can't really say what it was. I saw something though.
