There's an awesome review over at Kotaku about a dude who used the rift for 5 hours straight playing Half Life and was completely blown away.
I think there's a good chance this will substitute TV's really soon when it come to gaming.

The dev kit is $300 , but it think retail will be like $250, over here in the uk I think £199.99, it will explode onto the market, nothing like it has been seen and its on of them thing you just have to try to believe, FPS games will nothing but benefit from Rift, I can see PS4 bundling it with some titles in 2014, id are making Doom 4 with it I think....THAT would be scary as -blam!- http://www.geek.com/games/oculus-rift-is-immersive-enough-to-horrify-someone-who-fears-roller-coasters-1564373/ this is a brilliant example of immersion

Dang I thought it would cost a lot more. I think once developers start making games compatible with it it will catch on very fast. I thought we would have to wait for the price to come down but it seems like its already there.
