You didn't really answer my question. Regardless of some abstract notion of deserving to suffer, if you have some sense of empathy, shouldn't you want to reduce suffering for it's own sake? Regardless of whether or not one [i]should[/i] be offended by homophobia, it's simply a matter of fact that many people are, so I would think that society would be overall better off if we reduced homophobia, especially when all we're asking for is a slight modification of your vocabulary.
In Secular Sevens, a users right to express themselves freely is bound only by a certain standard of courtesy, which I am prepared to enforce zealously. As this is a Secular Sevens thread, that standard applies to all Bungie.net users that choose to participate in it, so I have taken the liberty of removing the rule-violating portion of your post.
