I was on the mobile app, and I saw one of my posts had been "Removed for S7 rule violation". Can anyone clarify what this means, what the consequences are, and/or what this "S7 rule" is? Thanks.

2 RepliesEdited by Recon Number 54: 8/2/2013 6:02:53 PMQuite an interesting situation and outcome of group posts being shared to the public forum. Administration of the group has the ability (and perhaps even the mandate) to enforce their group policies and practices regarding posting within such topics, even if the enforcement is on a member of the site, but not of the group. I wonder if this was a foreseen and planned on feature of the ability to publicly share topics, or if it is an unforeseen outcome/side-effect? I can see some potential benefit (our group topics, our group rules apply), some potential confusion (I'm not a member of your group, how in the hell do you expect me to know and comply with your group rules?) and even some long term effects (where certain groups become known for strict/lax attention to their shared topics and the enforcement of group rules within their publicly shared threads). I'd ask The Oracle, but I suspect that I won't get a straight answer. Just a cookie that makes me feel "right as rain" when I eat it. Awww, what the hell? Who doesn't like cookies?

3 RepliesDo to the degenerating quality of posts inside public threads, the administration of Secular Sevens (S7), myself included, have taken it upon ourselves to remove posts that contain content in violation of our rules and accepted standard of behaviour. Our threads, our standards.
