The problems is decreasing incomes, higher liability, crushing student debt, and an ever changing political climate that can devastate your practice based on the whims of the politicians.
So I hear, right now I also hear that there is a huge demand for rural physicians, and soon will be a large demand for the Geriatric population, but like you said who knows what it will be like in a few years.
