I picked the games I thought are Game of the Year material that have been released so far or have been announced to release this year.
I'm currently stuck between Bioshock Infinite and GTA 5.

GTA V. Anyone who says otherwise is being naive.
-
Bioshock has no replay value unless you play it again to understand the mind-blam!- if a story it has. Fantastic game, good concepts, fun game play, but no replay value. The last of us seems to be doing well atm so that'll get my vote

DmC: Devil May Cry I mean, it's just such a great game, far better than the originals and Ninja Theory put a much better take on the canon that had been establish over a period of ten years...

TLOu is so bad it shouldn't even be on this list. I love Bioshock Infinite, but I don't know if it's GOTY quality. Watch Dogs... No... GTA V, obviously is going to be. It's got a huge hyped up launch and everyone loves GTA.

1 ReplyEdited by BannedLemön: 7/24/2013 10:05:42 PMGTA V already won.

TLoU or GTA V.
-
The last of us.
-
It'll be a drawn out, bloody fight between The Last of Us and GTA V, most likely. I hope The Last of Us wins. I like Naughty Dog.
-
The three games you'll see with the most GOTY nods will be TLoU, GTA, and Bioshock. I expect, though this could change, TLoU to be the common GOTY winner we see.

GTA 5 already won GOTY when it was announced.
-
GTA V. It's pretty obvious.
-
1 ReplyIt's absurd to say that a game that hasn't been released yet is going to be the game of the year. Actually play the game first. I guess I'd have to say that out of the few 2013 games I've played, I'm going to go with Soul Hackers for now. Bioshock Infinite didn't really impress me and Tomb Raider was good, but not fantastic.
-
Either Infinite or Watchdogs for me

2 RepliesEdited by drogo01: 7/23/2013 11:56:57 PMWhat about the other games, such as GOW Judgement Splinter cell blacklist Dead space 3 crisis 3 Tomb raider etc But I have to say GTA 5
-
GTA: V There really is no competition. I barely hear of those other games.
-
GTA 5 looks very promising.
-
It would have to be between The Last of Us and GTA5, but my money is on TLOU. It's impressive to see the Last of Us go toe-to-toe with GTA5, considering that it's a new IP.

I felt bioshock was way to short to hold its own.
